Crying laughing
This is the best thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Not medically related, but since laughter is the best medicine, we can maybe make an exception.

“I feel like Hennessy would be an appropriate beverage tonight.”
“If I catch diabetes in here, it’ll be totally worth it.”
“Oh I’m gettin fat tonight!”
“Anyone else feel like washing this waffle and chicken down with some red Kool-Aid? Anyone?”
”Well at least we walked here.”
“I’m gonna have to do an awful lot of dancing tonight to burn this off.”
“I’m thinking about drinking a shot of syrup for dessert.”
“If I have a heart attack tonight, at least I’ll die full.”









Hey folks, you’ve seen those great cartoons about medical school right? Well if you didn’t know, they’re from Dr. Fizzy over at A Cartoon Guide to Becoming a Doctor. I’ve been following her since my first year of med school and the cartoons never cease to make me chuckle. You should check out her blog if you haven’t seen it before.
Also, for those interested, she has compiled all the cartoons into a book that you can get here. I haven’t bought it yet, but I’m thinking I might pick up one or two for some friends who are entering med school soon. And hey! Maybe I’ll give one away sometime soon as a prize for some mysterious blog contest I have yet to come up with.

Lots of people like to diet for their New Year’s Resolution. I recently lost about 20 pounds, but I hate diets.

I mean, come on,

I see food and I’m all,

I love carbs, especially

I have a difficult time with sweets especially. There is always time for cookies.

And who can resist ice cream?

Sometimes I eat according to my mood.

Sometimes (like when I was on surgery,) I eat in case I don’t get to eat later.

Every time I sit down for a meal I be like

because the food just calls to me.

When the meal is over, sometimes my mind says

I think to myself, which looks better?

But I settle for pie. And I feel guilty about eating dessert so I scarf it down like:

But now it’s time to grow up.

Instead of going nuts at dinnertime like

I try to get excited about healthy things like

I mean, I can’t really stop eating, right?

So my resolution is to eat healthy and exercise more. I’m going to ride my bike more because I really hate couch to 5k.

So from now on I will:

and burn more calories by

and

I will eat healthy

And from now on, instead of ice cream,
